random branching followed by randomization within a branch?

Hello,

I have a student doing some work with Opinio and we are both new to the software.

We want to have four different forms for respondents to answer to reflect the experimental treatments as specified by her design.

Within each form there are four questions respondents receive, which should appear in random order to minimize question order effects. So the experiment is 4 between and 4 within. Every respondent would answer the same block of demographic questions first, to determine eligibility, etc.

It seems like the easiest way to do this would be to have a randomly filled in question (that would ideally be invisible to the respondent) to determine the proper branch.

We've been reading through the documentation to see how to do this and haven't found a way to make the random question to branch to the proper form, although I'm sure there is a way.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
