I just installed java 1.4.1 on my MacOS X machine, and the probe client does not work. Safari crashes constantly when trying to run complex multithreaded network connecting applets.

Use java 1.3.1 on MacOS X if you want to run the Network Probe client on Mac.

I had NetProbe running on my OSX box with 1.4.1, I just upgraded to 1.4.2 and that also is working fine for me.

after the update did you make sure the java path for netprobe was still the same?
