Network summary graph only displays 24hrs

Recently upgraded from Netprobe v2.7 to v3.0, and I'm noticing some odd behavior with the network summary graph on the main page.

Currently in the setup page, all of the statistics interval durations are set to 1hr and an interval time of 30s, except the network overview time which is set to 5s.

The probe data numbers in the network summary updates every 5s and appears to only keep 1hr of data as expected, however the graph & the gauge below the numbers always displays 24hrs of data and updates very infrequently (every 5 or 10min it seems - I haven't timed it exactly)

Has anyone else run into this? I've tried deleting the config.txt in case it was an issue with a corrupted file, but that had no effect, even after updating the setup.

Hi geromyh,

I am seeing the same behavior in version 3.0:
The update times of the summary graph do not
respect the settings.

We are running the probe in promisuous mode
with 2 NICs
on Windows server 2008 Enterprise ed. SP1

Cheers,
Geoff

Hi,

For those wondering about this problem, I got
a response through E-mail in the end -see below.
I guess they don't look in here very often.

Cheers,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

We are aware of this problem, and unfortunately at the moment, there is no way of configuring the throughput chart in the summary screen. You should be able to use the chart in the Network Tab under the Traffic Statistics button, this can be configured.
