Network Probe over a VPN
Posted: Dec 8, 2006 6:10 PM

Will one copy of Network Probe intalled at a central location scan the network cards of all of the systems at the other end of my IPSEC VPN tunnels, or do I have to have a copy of the software installed at each location?

You should be able to pick up the traffic, but it will be reported as IPSec traffic. To see in details which protocols are being used, you need one copy installed on each switch you are monitoring.
