MAC ADDRESS ON UNIX

Been having some network slow down and users getting kicked out of applications, found network probe and love it. Noticed that UNIX machine has MAC address of ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff which is broadcast. Is this normal?? Perhaps I have a bad NIC?

There is only one broadcast address on the network, so this is really strange. Can you post me a screenshot of the "network cards" table (preferably from http://support.objectplanet.com/esupport/?_a=tickets&_m=submit)?
