Try to start it manually: 'java -jar Probe.jar'
and wait for error messages. If you get "OutOfMemoryError", a lot of traffic is going through your network - more than the memory can hold.

Started it manually and got this error message

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread
at java.lang.Thread.start(Native Method)
at com.objectplanet.probe.b.r$b.run(Unknown Source)
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

Try 'java -mx256M -jar Probe.jar' and see how long it can run until you get the error message.

To reduce the memory consumption, turn off intervall data and conversations/protocol per conversation, and set it to reset every hour.

Version 1.0 will have support for filtering out specific IP/ranges and protocols.
