Hi,
I'm using Netprobe 2.1.1. Till now it was working in service mode. Since two days I have an issue. If I try to start it up in service mode, I see message in the application event log:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Network Probe
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1
Date: 8/29/2007
Time: 12:25:59 PM
User: N/A
Computer: NETSTAT
Description:
Network Probe: Error loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0\bin\client\jvm.dll

I tried different things, tried to reinstall the service, the Java JRE (different versions 1.5.x-1.6.x). Nothing helps, the result is the same.

Thank you very much in advance,
Balázs

Balázs,

I was not able to reproduce the problem with Java 1.6.0_01 in Windows XP. Which Windows OS are you running?
32-bit or 64-bit?

Eivind,

I'm running Probe on a Windows 2003 Server 32 bit R2 SP2.

Thanks,
Balázs
