I believe the software is exactly what we are wanting. But right now I am running the software from my machine although I am not getting everyones IPs. Where on the network should the server be that is running the software. I assume one of the backbone switches, but still not sure that will gather all the data across the entire network. Including those coming from the lan.

Connecting it to a span port on one of the backbone switches would be good. It should see all ingoing and outgoing traffic.

I too am new to your Network Probe product. It appears to be exactly what I am looking for. I have the probe connected to a Cisco Catalyst 3550 switch that is in "monitor" mode. I see plenty of traffic(odd ports), however I do not see any of the "normal"(21,23,25,80,110) traffic. Any suggestions? I had my Cisco guru look over the config of the switch port and says all is fine. This is a major sales point for our company as we are a Telco/ISP.
